Police officer assault 11th grader who has Asperger syndrome

I do not believe police officers need to be involved in simple school offenses. Those things need to be dealt with by teachers and principles. The police officer did not have to treat this boy in that manner. A simple detention or suspension would have been appropriate. Now this kid has a record he really doesn’t need that could follow him for the rest of his life. Also, this boy did not need to be assaulted in order to be arrested. I’m disappointed with this situation and what took place.
