I think the way the justice system in America needs to be changed. There needs to be more focus on what can be done to help individuals other than just throwing them in prison. Yes, some people deserve to be in prison, but a lot more people just need assistance and guidance and an opportunity to turn their life around, especially teenagers. Individuals who have committed crimes need more help than just putting them in prison can provide.
