James Sommerville keynote at brand Talks Connected
By watching this talk about different types of brands and how it changes and how it was designing throughout the process was enjoyable, at the beginning of the talk James Sommerville says learn how to survive. It’s like how Coca-Cola change and how they survive. Redesigning the bottle to be more clearly show to people around the world. Looking at each slide that he shows surprised me how Coca-Cola started in the beginning. Celebrate the end, the drink is empty, and it means people enjoy drinking it. That sentence pops out to me. Yes, people do enjoy it and that’s a great way to show it to people. I also love how they combine graphics and photography together. The other thing that stands out was the “Say Yes to Love” from Australia. How they use the script to create the word LOVE. The design was amazing and lovely. Also, it connects back to the design font of Coca-Cola. How they take something that’s fake and turns it into something that can be used in a proper way.
