I attended one of the networking events on the 8th of September. It’s about the Award-winning illustrator Eugenia Mello. The event starts at 6 PM, I didn’t realize the time, so I attended around 6:30. I record the event on my phone in case I forgot anything she mentions in the event. The next day I saw on her Instagram there’s a playback of the event. So, I open it, record it, while watching it. She talks about how her book goes from dummy to a colorful publish book. Also, she mentions the meaning of her book. “Moving” that mentions a young girl moving to a new place and how she found her feeling of home. I attended this event because I can’t draw good and I am currently taking an illustration class and going to be working on my own 32-page dummy picture book for this semester.
