Who would have thought that printing could be so complicated? I have been printing things for years but I never thought about quality as much as the people that work at Duggal printing. At this work site which is located at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, they mainly print large poster size paper. They print many different ads for many different companies such as for Verizon and Apple. The printers they use are older models but they work so well they do not need to be replaced. They do however have one newer HP printer that is all computerized and it prints high quality just like the older models of the printers at the work site. They also have massive paper cutters for precision cuts for their billboard ads and large poster ads.
Aside from all the paper and printers that are at the facility, they have an area that contains many different types of lighting. Lighting is very important to assure that the staff can compare colors the way they might be seen at different locations. In doing this they can securely say to their customers that the colors are as close to being exact as possible. Some of the lights they have are ceiling lights that simulate clothing store lights such as Hollister. They also have special back lights that simulate the lights in cell phone store such as Verizon or T-Mobile.
One of the most important things that happen at this work site has to do with the computers used at the facility. At least once a week the computers at this place are calibrated to show color to the highest ability of the computers used. This assures that all the work they do for their customers are top quality. Also, for every job they do they have saved presets that is like the basic structure for certain jobs that they receive. Each time they get a new job they use one of the saved preset that can match the piece of work they have to finish. This makes their work go by easier, faster and more efficient.
The way this Duggal work site operates to make quality work and deliver them in a fast and efficiently is the reason why they are still in business. Due to their efficiency their competitors have a thought time keeping up. The work they do is top notch because they consider every possibility to how a project might be seen by others. They also take pride in their work and make sure that everything is in order before the due date of the job they may be working. If they do something wrong they always overlook everything to make sure it meets the expectations of the customer.
