Nurses carry a huge responsibility on themselves when trying to care for an individual. Nurses also play an essential role in assisting individuals throughout their lives. My personal nursing philosophy is related to the philosophy of that nurses have a responsibility to the public to provide safe, holistic, patient-centered care. I believe that nurses are to provide the best care possible to achieve the best possible outcome to anyone who enters the hospital.
I believe that all individuals are unique and require individualized and holistic care. As a nurse is important to remember that each person we encounter with are not same. Knowing that are certain guidelines that a nurse it should be followed when taking care of our patients, nurses should always investigate of patient’s preferences and needs. Most importantly each patient that is being treated should be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their background and choices.
