Essay 5: Research and Persuasive Essay
In Essay #3, you chose a location that represented overlapping New Yorks in close proximity to City Tech. Your location is no doubt worthy of further attention, and should be seen and understood by others on a walking tour like the one we took earlier this semester. In a well-developed essay of approximately 750 words, persuade your classmates and the Brooklyn Historical Society staff that your location belongs in a revised version of the walking tour we took. Using relevant, reliable sources and your observations, tell your location’s story. Identify what in the location’s story makes it a worthwhile addition to the tour.
