You can get to the vocabulary assignment in two ways. The easier way is to mouse over the Course Site at the Assignment tab, and click the Vocabulary subheading. We can discuss the other way in class on Wednesday.
Once you’re looking at the vocabulary document, you’ll then need to click Edit–otherwise, you can only read the document. Here’s the problem: this site doesn’t seem to allow students to edit documents. We’re working on the back end to remedy the situation. In the meantime, please read the directions on that page, choose one word, but write it somewhere you can save it, such as a word document, and email, or even a comment to this message, if you’re up for trying something new. We will figure out the specifics of using the document so the assignment can work out for our benefit all semester.
If you want to post your vocabulary assignment in a comment, click “leave a comment” if you’re the first one to comment. Once someone has posted a comment, it should say “1 comment” or however many there are–that’s what you’ll want to click. Be sure to click “post comment” when you’re done.
