Here are a few images from the wall bracing tests from last class. You can see they tested an overhead jack, as well as a steel jack that had an opening for a person to walk through. They built it from 1″ square tube and concluded that the concept was correct, but that they should have used a bigger steel shape for additional strength, like 1.5″ square tube.
