Discount tickets to NYC theater

1. Sign up for a free membership at Playbill.com. Go to the site, sign up, and look at the discounted shows they are offering.  It is still cheaper to do student rush tickets for some Broadway shows, but not all shows offer student rush.

3. TKTS booths. There’s one in Times Square and there’s one right down the street from City Tech (near the entrance to the A/F trains on Jay Street)! Deeply discounted Broadway tickets for the same day. Decide on a night you want to go to the theater and go to the booth to see what’s available. You can do it on your way home after school.

6. Signature Theater (West 42nd Street) has reasonably priced tickets — approximately $30. Their shows are usually very good (dramas, mostly).

$20 Mobile Rush Tickets
St. Ann’s Warehouse has partnered with mobile theater ticketing app TodayTix to offer $20 Mobile Rush Tickets.
A limited number of Rush tickets will be made available to all productions, on sale at 10:00am on the day of the performance. The tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. To purchase, download TodayTix from the App Store or Google Play.
