Homework

From what Ive seen and read throughout the few articles/essay we as a class and independently have read. The ingredients or (themes) to make their essays intresting that these authors used were the use of lots of diffrent emotions, they (authors) used a social problem and a hisotric event that impacted people of color which was racism in one of the essays which is a huge auidence gainer. The authors also play a good role in making their readers think carefully  about what they have read for example Allen tate and Author David Jauss used metaphors to explain how when we read we to read with the purpose of searching  for key details  that leads to the origin weather of the article, novel, essay, comic, manga , or even a newspaper that were reading. A good place to get an idea of something write about is your room or somewhere or someone you get motivated off of and get an idea you can elaborate on that person or thing. In additon a topic you really like weather its about politics , lgbtq++, social problems going on in our society or a problem going on in another country, or even about the lack of awarness society have on mens mental health and how men have these problems aswell, etc. A concern I might have on writing a narrative of my own is if I write in a specific way people may not unserstand what im writing and what im trying to express to my audience. ( Thats something I fear is that I write soemthing and my auidnce is confused on what the main topic is or what is the theme based off so they can get an idea of what they are going to be reading.)

Future self

Hey future Yordy, I hope you are still social and happy.

This is my homeland, this place brings me peace, makes me happy, cant never complain because my whole family come together to just chill and vibe with each other over there. My homeland motivates me to work hard for the goals I want to accomplish in life.

How to read like a writer

When Mike Bunn writes ” You are already an author”, he means that we already have brilliant writing ways and ideas to be expressed. In addition, we can also say you are already an author can mean that we use writing in our everyday life whether it’s texting on a phone, writing an essay, or writing a letter to a family or friend. For example, before starting college classes I practiced how well I can still write since my family and I took a two-month vacation and my writing skills were not in any use. While writing again not only did I try to leave my comfort zone in terms of vocabulary and improve the way I could change certain words and replace them with higher-status vocabulary to get used to terms that are going to be used in college. I feel observing how others talk and use words plays a major role in how we can(ourselves) use words but with our flow and style. The authorship that I already have can help me in my college reading/writing career by allowing me to improve on my past mistakes in terms of the way I would write and understand things. Also, this will help me understand why authors make the choices they do and why they portray it the way they do.

Something I liked about Bunn’s article that I would add to my writing is to use the two reading styles which are to read like an architect or read like a carpenter (which are well-used metaphors). But what Allen Tate and Author David Jauss are trying is that when you read a story you are trying to figure out how the text you are reading was constructed. Also, something I liked from Bunn’s article is that we have to read to truly understand an author’s point of view.
