Hw for 9/13

Covid-19 was one thing that impacted and changed not only my view on education and learning but everyone else. I went from going to school and being taught in person, to doing everything online. I had to figure out things I didn’t understand myself because there was no teacher to ask or teach me. Not being able to go to school was big for me, not seeing my classmates, friends, and favorite teachers.

One essay topic I would like to write about is my worst travel experience. This experience was terrifying. It changed me, how I eat, my body, I want to write about it because I grew so much from it over a year. All that fear and trauma I had from the trip is slowly going away.

Another topic would be school life before and after the pandemic this experience came out of the blue, it was unexpected. This is a good subject because Covid-19 changed who I am overall as a person, the way I dress, my hair, my features.

I also want to talk about the Wade vs Roe ruling over abortion. This is. A great event to write about it’s concerning every woman out in this world, their health is put in the hands of judges who don’t care. This law has taken the right for women to choose what they want to do with their body. Many protests went about this topic and all our rights were taken away.

Without a genre in a story, there is no entertainment for the reader. Imagination plays a big role in the education narrative genre, you’re not only physically thinking or using creativity but mentally also. Creativity is also another ingredient,  it’s where you gain more ideas and you think outside the box. I think online is a great start to get started, you have the internet, different sources, social media, you can watch videos to help you or tutorials to guide you. My concerns about writing an education narrative of my own is grammar, staying on topic. One educational experience I had was when I was little, I wasn’t born here so learning English was very hard for me. I moved to America when I was 4 years old. I was placed in a low school and the grade and teaching level wasn’t high. I was out in speech class, I wasn’t doing well in my homework or my exams. My parents couldn’t help me either their speech wasn’t that good, I had to go to speech therapy and get tortured. It started to improve after getting help but my accent was still there and strong, when I moved to the next grade I started to stutter badly there was no explanation. Every time I tried to get a word out my leg started shaking, I was making movements with my hands, and I was out of breath. I had anxiety anytime the teacher would call on me to answer a question or to read, I always avoided it. Over time my English got better but my stuttering was still there. It took a long time for me to learn how to breathe and relax.

Hw for Tuesday 9/6

The goal in the article is to read like a writer. I’m already an author, I have writing experience and knowledge. I was taught how to write an essay or story step by step. from rough drafts to hard copies. How to start an introduction, body paragraphs, and end a conclusion. We are authors every day whether it’s from texting my friends, tweeting on Twitter, love letters, or emailing a professor. I form my own beliefs like authors do. Words play a big part in my life, it’s a way I communicate, and express my feelings. Words are very strong, they can make people smile or even hurt someone. My reading and writing skills will help me not only in college but in the future. I will be more open-minded and have a clear head and my writing will be flowing. It can help me communicate with students in the calls anytime I need their help, or if it’s a group project. Passing my classes will be easy, and my learning will be better, solving problems on my own, just being able to adapt anywhere I go. Even on a regular day learning to approach an argument. In Bunn’s article, I noticed how he started an essay with a quote I would like to try to grab the reader’s attention. I’m a very indecisive person so the pros and cons list would be perfect, I would be able to point out and pick a side.
