The focused image on the phone is slightly different in positioning and facial expressions than the unfocused image in the background. The photo uses photography with possibly but most likely natural lighting. The subject appears to take up a lot of the frame leaving barely enough space for the subject itself to fully be in the picture. The foreground is the picture the subject just took and the background is the subject showing said picture possibly to another camera. There is no underlying or significant relationship between the foreground and the background.
