Low Key
This is a picture of a book-bag, this image is predominately dark creating a low key tone. A spot in the bag receives the most light from the window giving it some highlight. Where is receiving the light with the gray-scale filter the music notes pops out more with a white color. The picture has a narrow range of a low key value since the photo is consistently dark.
High Key
This photo was taken next to the elevators, the image is predominately light with a gray tone giving it’s image a narrow range. The light bulb helps the image have a lighter tone in the walls using the gray-scale filter.
I really enjoy looking at the low key photos. I think you caught a great shot of the small highlight right on the top. It then brings my eyeys towards the ruffles the bag has created on itself. Great job!
