UX/UI PROJECT BREAKDOWN

There will be a single main project completed during this semester. This project will be divided into three different deliverables; an initial presentation, final deck and final presentation.

Project Description:

The student will perform the UX and UI Design for a product created by another member of the class. Each member of the class will function in two roles; that of an app creator and also the role of UX & UI Designer. 

App Creator Role: In this role, the the student will create the concept for a mobile device app. The final deliverable for this role is a google doc that roughly outlines the concept behind the app and any other initial thoughts of the App creator.

UX & UI Designer Role: In this role, the student will research viable competitors, potential users, develop the product  through the wireframing and mock-up stages and then perform user testing on it. The final deliverable for this role is a click-through prototype. 

The grading for this project will be divided into multiple parts including multiple presentations and a final project deck.
