- Principles of Dental Hygiene Care II (DEN1200): My teammates and I conducted research and compiled information on the effects of chemotherapy on the oral cavity. We presented on the topic at the Health Fair where we provided information on dental hygiene for patients undergoing chemotherapy. My part of the research concentrated on oral hygiene instruction. I learned a lot on how to care for patients undergoing chemotherapy.

All of the research projects I have conducted enhanced my ability as a skilled professional because I know I will come across these topics as I provide care to my patients. The more knowledge we have, the better equiped we will be to serve our patients.
