Problems

Self-driving cars need constant monitoring, and need to receive info about where to pick up and drop off passengers. This communication really needs to be secure, and it can be. The biggest step toward security involves reducing the attack surface. A localized self-driving car doesn’t need Bluetooth but a secure communication which can used around the clock to monitor the car back and forth situation because these car can come to some of the area where communication does not work or maybe the GPS tracker cannot be able to identify those portion on the Map therefore, it’s important to have a secure link of communication where these cars automatically relocate themselves and solve the issue.

74% of U.S. consumers polled said they felt that fully autonomous vehicles will not be safe.

Communication is the main support of these cars because due to the fact they don’t have an human driving them therefore they have to be monitored through a Network which means security in these types of cars are nothing but securing the communication link between the car itself and the person or data center operating the car.
