Nervous.
Nervous Is my word. It’s natural to always feel nervous as you start something new or get into a new environment. There are a lot of new people and faces, and there’s always a nervous excitement going on when it’s the start of a new semester. And I’m experiencing it too.
My winter vacation was the usual. I did pretty much the same things I always had done, except this time my two sisters ended up getting covid. We had to run a little quarantine during my entire break and change up how we did things as a family, but it was generally the same (at least for us that weren’t infected).
Being an online student is definitely different but it’s very manageable, at least for me. Things I’m worried about, I guess, would be due dates and the difficulty or frequency of assignments. My last ENG class was great and I hope it’s the same here too. 🙂
Here’s a photo of my two parakeets. I just wanted to share it, as it’s always nice to see other people’s pets and start a conversation off of it. The left one is named Sky, and the right one is Ace. They were the first-ever pets I got after begging my parents, and I have fond memories of both of them.
Hey guys, my name is Fenelon Luxama, but i go by Fen that’s what most people call me by.
To be honest I didn’t really have any feelings towards making the transition from winter break to this new school year , but one thing i’ll say was I was kinda worried because I not a fan of English due to how certain teacher teach this course. Throughout my whole high school all they did was follow this one boring way of teaching English which caused a lot of students to stop liking the subject, but my first semester in city which was last semester my English class was very different and I actually wanted to go to due to how the teacher was teaching and how fun she made the course seems like. The teacher name was Amity Nathaniel, she is so far my favorite English teacher, so coming into this class I didn’t know what to expect but after today, and seeing how you operate class I think you going to make thus course unlike these other teachers that torture students with work. Coming into this new school year I was also tired cause I’m part time a student athlete, i play football for the NYC lions, so I was kinda tired so I was hoping that we not going to have too much to do soo at the end of the day I can have time for myself.
Hello everyone, my name is AoHeng Yang. My major is game design, I have some programming experience, if interested we can discuss something about game design together.
This is the second semester of my first year at university. I was very nervous about this course because English has always been my weakness. Due to the impact of the epidemic, my family only allowed me to take online classes, which made it harder to meet new friends. I hope this class can bring me new friends. My vacation was very fulfilling and I found my new purpose in life.
This is my first work in pixel art. It is the skin of a character in League of Legends. I imitated and pixelated him. It’s not perfect, but it means a lot to me.
