going to the beach to see the octopus

As I was brainstorming about topics to talk about, I scrolled upon a post that talked about soccer and politics,
Which caught my attention because as a soccer fan you start to notice that a lot of things that are happening in the real world are affecting the sport of soccer. Watching soccer used to be seeing your favorite team playing in the biggest tournament as you watch with your friends and distract yourself from the real world but, now i have noticed that it has changed drastically, there is a lot of world issues that are not only talked about but shown in broadcasted soccer matches,
Although these issues are really important to talk about and show your support I feel like sometimes you need to distract yourself from these issues and just from things around you to feel better
If i was to write about this topic i would right it as a soccer fan,and as a world-sport issue
Another topic I stumbled upon would be how soccer players don’t play for the passion of the sport but for the money they gain from it.
Ever since i was little the soccer was a sport that i really loved playing and was really passionate about and even till this day i see it as something that i have love for, but now i’m starting to notice that soccer players both professionally and amatur see soccer as a way to get a lot of money
This topic is really shown with the type of contracts that are given to soccer players that still have so much to show. A clear example would be kylian mbappe contract from this summer where he gets a large amount of money which he chose instead of going to the club that he dreamed of playing for.
