Assignment #1

One word that describes my feelings towards online college is concerned. This feeling stems from my worries regarding online education. Personally, I don’t believe that a laptop can embody a real classroom environment. Eventually your body and eyes start hurting from staring at a computer screen for prolonged periods of time. You also miss the opportunity to truly interact and get to know your peers. I never envisioned  my college experience and interactions to take place on an online platform.  I currently find  it difficult  to talk to staff; especially when  you are communicating through email and not having a face to face conversation. Also, school responsibilities mix with home responsibilities making it harder to get a quiet and uninterrupted environment. I know online school is going to be an adjustment, however, I still feel fortunate because in spite of the difficult times we managed to make the best of it.

These are my aunt’s dogs. The one on the right is named Sugar and the other one is Sasha. I spend time with them regularly and they alway brighten my day.

Intro

One word to describe online learning is anxious because I’m not used to this type of learning especially when I’m take four classes and its all online, the stress level is serious so its definitely something to worry about. And I feel like this online way of learning will not work for every class because I have biology lab and labs are usually done in person so I think its going to be hard but I’m waiting to see how it all works out and I hope myself and everybody pass with high grades this semester.

Introduction

One Word I would use to describe the remote learning experience would be stressful.I say stressful because the transition from high school to college has never been easy throughout time but as you went to campus and met with teachers and sat in classrooms you had a better understanding of how things would work but now due to COVID-19 We have been forced to have classes strictly online which can be quite confusing because websites like
Open lab which require a lot of navigation to understand the site. But it’s also been learning experience for me as I learned how to manage my time different and being able to start using new programs to complete homework and classwork assignment.

Assignment #1

One word I can use to describe my feeling for having an online semester is skeptical. I mostly feel this way because I feel like its not going to work for every class and other type of leaners. For example I’m majoring in mechanical engineering technology and this semester I’m supposed to take a in person lab, but its online only and I’m still confused on how we’re going to learn how to use our machines online. Don’t get me wrong there’s lot’s of different things I learn online, but I feel like anything that requires any kind of physical labor I learn better in person.  Other than that I feel like every thing should be fine because there’s no place more comfortable to work than your home. besides that most classes required us to do most of our work online anyway and your also going to be able to have more time to yourself when your free.

Also this beautiful 14 week goldendoodle is Venus my sister got her like 3 weeks ago and it’s like she can’t stop growing. Every week she’s like two times bigger than before, and she’s always either playing or sleeping the whole day. So what can say it’s been pretty hard to leave my house now.
