Yesterday just so happened to be my first Labor Day celebration.
Usually, I don’t go out to Labor Day parades. My family’s ideology of Labor Day being a time where people could lose their life at any giving moment was always holding me back.
However that all changed when I was given a chance of freedom.
I was sent to take care of a certain task provided by my parents. After I accomplish said task, I have about a couple of hours before I go to work.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t accomplish my task. But that didn’t stop me from dampering my day.
No… it was what happened after that got me.
My mom had rung the phone. I was shook with the fact that i’m leaving empty handed.
I picked up the phone. I answered with a hearty hello. The rest? Deafening. And indenial, but deafening, too.
And it didn’t stop there.
