One-on-One Conferences at Mid Term Sign-Up Sheet

Hi Students,

As you know, we don’t meet in person next week. You will be meeting with me for about 10 minutes each on Zoom to discuss your progress in the class and Mid-Term Grades.

I have created a sign-up sheet. (The links to join Zoom are also available in a document link in the sign-up sheet.)

Here is the sign-up sheet:

Your conference will count as an attendance, as if you had been in class. Your “Social Dilemma” Movie assignment will count as a second attendance.

I will be in touch and look forward to seeing you Online. Have a great week-end.

Week 6 Assignments and Folder

Hi Class, it is a funny holiday schedule next week. We don’t meet Tuesday. On your WEEK 6 Folder you will find two more Lateral Reading Assignments and a KWL+ assignment.

If you want to improve your first lateral reading worksheet (Beckett), you are welcome to add to it and hand it in to me on Thursday.

(If you showed it to me during class, please indicate that at the top of the worksheet when you re-submit it. Thanks.)

Over the long week, please:

keep brainstorming your “skills/interests/what you are passionate about” list.

And PLEASE read through the UNIT 2 Capstone Assignments and be prepared to ask me questions about it on Thursday.

You can find all the capstone assignments under OUTLINE OF UNITS AND ASSIGNMENTS on this website.

On Thursday we will have another Library Instruction Session; we will meet in class first and then go to the Library.
