Virtual Week Next Week — See you on Zoom

Class,

Next week (Dec 4ā€“8, which is WEEK 15) we will not have in-person class. We will have one Required Zoom Session (on Tuesday) and one Drop-In Zoom Session (on Thursday).

You must attend our Zoom Session on Tuesday Dec 5 from 10:30AMā€“11:30AM. I will send you the links to join the Zoom in a separate post soon.

Before Tuesday Dec 5, you MUST READ the UNIT 4 Final Reflection Capstone Assignment. You must also watch this video of me describing the Final Portfolio (I made it last year, but it will work for you as well).

I strongly urge you to start writing your Final Reflection now, over the week-end. We will write together on Tuesday; I will also be available to answer questions on Thursday.

The Writing Center is having a pop up event Tues and Wed

Hi Students,

Here is a message from Professor Franklin, the head of the The Writing Center. This event sounds nice and I want to pass it along:

This event is designed to support students working on any written assignment and will also cater to students seeking to refine the content of a speech or presentation.

To receive a 15-minute tutoring session, students are invited to walk-up or reserve a spot using this link:Ā https://forms.office.com/r/mGB1cLPfc9

FINAL SPEECHPRESENTATION TUTORING

from:

Joseph Franklin, PhD

Assistant Professor & Writing Center Director

English Department

New York City College of Technology

Chances are, you will want to work with a tutor for more than 15 minutes! However, this time of year, it can be hard to get an appointment, so walk in and sign up and see what they have to say. -ss
