Getting Used to Change

Change isn’t always easy, when quarantine first started, I was a little excited. But as time went by, and I realized that I was finishing my 12th grade year virtually. I didn’t experience any activities that typical 12th graders execute. It was very hard since I was very excited and ended up with diddly. While quarantine was difficult, nice things happened such as my hair thriving, turning 18 and getting my learners permit.

When I turned 17, I was very excited because I assumed my summer may be very fun, but quarantine happened, and I was stuck in my quarters for 8 weeks watching Netflix and painting. It was very difficult since at this time I had 1 friend. She was attending her internship while I was waiting for my classes. My first semester went by quickly, it was an acceptable experience, but it was tiring as well. Attending the learning center and finishing a 240-minute shift then returning to my quarters was tiring since I had assignments due.

Currently I am in my 2nd semester and fearful that I picked up a heavier capacity than last time since I had 4 classes last semester and 5 currently. I have been extremely disinterested recently because I end each day the same. I have few friends and all I accomplish in my free time is spending my salary. All in all, change for me was scary at first, but at this time I have adjusted. I accepted the fact that thing will take an extremely lengthy time until it is back to regular.
