MANJIE WU_DRAFT1_UNIT 1

I passed a test and detected that I was a visual learner. Visual learning people mainly rely on vision to obtain, understand and remember information. If they cannot “see”, they cannot fully understand it. I think this is in line with my study habits. When I was learning how to use new things, I would like to watch the demonstration first. Such as computers, bicycles, and manual work, etc. I always watch it before I get action, and do it when I think I can do almost the same.

When writing, I read the examples and then it is better to write than not to read the examples. In fact, I think this is a habit I developed from elementary school teachers. When I was in elementary school, my teacher would ask students to buy a writing reference book, a book that gathers all kinds of excellent writing. We refer to this book every time we write a book. When I was in the second grade of writing, teachers usually started to teach us how to write. The teacher will arrange the writing requirements, and then choose some writing examples in that book to explain to us. We will all take notes and draw key points on this book. Then, students use the skills they learned in writing to writing. We will refer to this book and learn how to use various writing techniques to meet writing requirements. Although I didn’t buy this kind of writing reference book anymore after I into 7 grade. But before writing, I usually do some preparations in advance. When writing is difficult, I usually look for examples for reference. First look at what others do ,and then I will have an idea to get how I need to write.

My reading ability is actually not good, usually I cannot read the main points of the article in a short time. Reading books takes a long time; after reading, there is no overall thinking structure; after reading many books, I still feel that I have not gained much; facing the views in this book, I am always guided by the author’s thinking. These bad habits often appear on me. But I improved a bit later. My high school teacher told me that all I had to do to read was to take notes. The most basic is also the most important. In reading, you should leave marks and comments during the reading process so that you can focus on reading and understanding after you finish reading. A simple reading is generally not very rewarding, you need to look back, focus on thinking and remember. When I want to keep more knowledge points in my head, I must learn to integrate the scattered knowledge points. Mainly to refine the important content of the book, but also include some understanding and insights in the process of reading. This integration is convenient for later reading. It’s really useful. Although it will take a lot of time, you will remember it instead of forgetting it after reading it.
