homework 10/1 bhs and map

I really enjoyed our trip to the Brooklyn Historical Society. I found it fascinating how much changes over time. It’s incredible that people have managed to save all these documents for later generations to see. It just goes to show how important the past can be to the present and future. I liked the old subway and road maps, so much that I wanted to take one home. I was amazed at how things have changed and stayed the same. Our surroundings are always changing, even if you look at a map from 2003 things are different. The map that I would use to help people find my location, is google maps. Google maps is like a combo of all the different maps we learned about. You can zoom in and out to see different views of a neighborhood and the ones around it.  They are the best, you can view entire neighborhoods that you never even heard of. I always use them to find my way. I think it would be the most sufficient way to find my location since my written directions mostly consist of shops rather than street names and numbers.
