The assignment says that we can use our own research and articles and stuff aside from the links that were sent. And I found something interesting. Close to 100 years ago, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, there was the infamous race riots where a successful black town was practically destroyed over night by white supremacists. I found some articles about that… and the ongoing effects that still has on society today. That black and people of color aren’t allowed to become too successful and white institutions of power do what they can to keep people of color from becoming too powerful. Can I use this?
