I chose this major because I always love technology and wated to learn more. My name is Omaima Himed. My pronouns are she/her. I am currently majoring in chemistry AS and I am currently taking prerequisites class for pharmacy. I want to get in associate in chemistry and finish the class I need before applying for pharmacy school. After I graduate I hope to get into a pharmacy school and start my journey from there. I have hay 2 major before and I didn’t enjoy it so when I was looking up pharmacy I found out we might need an associate or bachelor in chemistry so then I need to switch it. I have taking Quantitative reasoning in 12th grade but with BMCC and transferred the credit to city tech and I have taking MAT 1275. I am good at cooking but middle eastern food. I learned how to cook because it’s part of my culture, I took advantage of quarantine when I was in 10th grade and started learning. one thing I am bad at is time management, I feel like I am all over the place and it very hard to stick into one routine. A interesting fact is I speak 2 language and hope feel I learn 3rd language. I want to learn Turkish I am currently looking at online classes for me to take but I might postponed it to later because this semester I am very busy. My favorite book is the Quran, I love reading it because I learn about my religion and I feel like it heals me. My favorite animals is horse, we had 3 of them when we were living in the Middle East but when we moved we sold them. I love animals but I am afraid of them sadly.
Hello, My name is Sahib Barjan, My pronouns are He/Him, my major is Computer Systems Technology Major, I chose this major because not only do i like tinkering with things like computers,( like the one I built myself, as well as the keyboard I use to type this on!)I also like collecting things from Vinyls,Pokemon Cards, even model kits, I hope to have a decent job soon after I graduate, something with good enough pay to enjoy the free time I’d have to the fullest, hopefully its something pertaining to my career but life crazy like that so who knows? I also have a favorite book, its called “House of Leaves” By Mark Z. Danielewski, A wonderful take into the horror genre that spins the concept of horror on its head creating an reading experience that few have been able to recreate. In terms of favorite animal, I like raccoons, I think they’re cool.
