Zzyzx is a fractal-machine elf born on the negative energy plane in the relative vicinity of VY Canis Majoris, where “he” enjoys basking in cosmic rays and the sprawling vistas of massive real estate. Age is somewhat of a paradox as he tends to fade in and out of existence. Hobbies include dancing the Dance of Life, singing objects in and out of existence and laughing copiously. An affinity for McKenna lectures, and guiding lost psychonauts (when they happen to cross over to his side of reality) are noted as well. He disagrees with his wiki entry and hesitates to describe himself as “chaotically mercurial” hoping to instead, one day, when he is not so busy, replace that term with something more flattering.
