2. Internship Expectations / Goals
   • Contribute to the Expectations / Goals Doc
   • How do we want to communicate? Asana? Email?
   • Keep track of hours and work completed each week via our shared time-tracker spreadsheet
   • Share Weekly Journal entries on your ePortfolio under Internship–provide links to add to this site
   • Outreach to the community:
     • Contribute to The Buzz to share expertise with the student community.
3. Logistics/Housekeeping
   • Meeting days/times: Tuesdays 3:30-5pm
   • Mid-week check-ins: via Asana
   • Communication methods/tools

Notes

• Saria: likes the idea of building/exploring themes
• Lyonel: has never created a theme, interested in looking into it
• Janieca: likes the idea of doing the Buzz, doing tutorials and workshops — helping people who use the platform who are not so tech-savvy. Tutorials – how to play around with changing color, etc…
• Shabaj: template for non-designers. Making it simple to choose from various options, making it easier for them to customize.
• Darren: Do you guys have an Openlab mobile app yet?
• Working with Stella: Janeica & Saria
• Darren: Thinking about the child theme. Maybe different majors need different themes for Portfolios?
• Darren: What were the biggest challenges in navigating OL?
• Check-in day (on Asana): Friday

5. Set up your OpenLab ePortfolio
   • Create a post category for your Internship journal entries
   • Start adding your best work from each class (aim to have 3 posts completed with images, project description, and reflection)
   • Look at ePortfolios on OpenLab, last semester interns ePortfolios,
6. Complete 10 hours of work on the above tasks (including this meeting). Record your hours and work on our shared time-tracker spreadsheet
