Hello everyone, first of all, let me apologize for my sorry excuse of an introduction.

my name is Mouhamadou Bah, I am 19 years old and a sophomore at City Tech. I am also majoring in biomedical informatics. I chose this major because when I was researching what major to choose for the first time, I found it really interesting. this course involves researching, analyzing, and collecting data. it helps future research leaders design and implement novel quantitative and computational methods that solve challenging problems across the entire spectrum of biology and medicine. my favorite thing to do is to ride my bike /play video games/ read books/and spend time with family and friends.

fun fact, I did not always live in the U.S., I lived in Senegal which is in West Africa with most of my family members. I am also Muslim, and I speak 4 languages. I first came here with my sister after our papers went through, so we could finally live with our mother whom we had not seen in a very long time, and whom I admire a lot.

anyways this is me. I really hope to pass this class with an A, because I really like English and a good grade.  it’s exciting to be here with you all.

Hi everyone my name is Sajeevan Rangeswaran and I am from Sri Lanka. My pronouns are he/him.  I have been living in the US for 12 years.  I currently live in Queens and it takes me 1 hour to come to college. But since it’s an online asynchronous class I don’t have to travel in the train for 1 hour. I am in my last semester majoring in computer engineering. Hopefully, I pass all the classes and graduate in December.  In my free time, I like to play video games and if it is nice outside I also play cricket outside with my brother and friends.  Cricket is my favorite sport and I played it in high school.

This is the picture of the trophy that was given to me by my cricket coach in my senior year for being the best player in the team. This trophy means a lot to me, since it was my first trophy. I practiced very hard to become the best player and I was happy my practice paid off. I was very happy on the day, since my team had other player who was good. I was so happy that coach selected me. Even though we lost in the final in my senior year this trophy made me feel better.

My name is Bai, pronounced as “Bay,” and my pronouns are he/him. I’m currently in my last year of college with only three more classes left. I’m taking this class to fulfill my remaining credits and, hopefully, move on from school entirely. I currently reside in Brooklyn, New York, where I was born and raised. I’m finishing my major in Business and Technology of Fashion. One thing that’s been on my mind lately is how the MTA keeps raising its prices, It’s really annoying, and I hate it. Because I live in Brooklyn, I rely on public transportation a lot, and these fare hikes are extremely annoying. Some activities I do often would be playing lots of basketball and improving my health slowly.

This is my mixed pit bull Oreo, she’s been in my life for about 11 years now and has been with me through my best and worst. She means the world to me and I would do anything to prolong her life. This past summer she went through surgery and I did not care about price or anything other financial concerns. She went through surgery and came out fine, this was her around 1 week ago waiting to eat a treat and she’s recovered completely.
