Bai Ngai

My name is Bai, pronounced as “Bay,” and my pronouns are he/him. I’m currently in my last year of college with only three more classes left. I’m taking this class to fulfill my remaining credits and, hopefully, move on from school entirely. I currently reside in Brooklyn, New York, where I was born and raised. I’m finishing my major in Business and Technology of Fashion. One thing that’s been on my mind lately is how the MTA keeps raising its prices, It’s really annoying, and I hate it. Because I live in Brooklyn, I rely on public transportation a lot, and these fare hikes are extremely annoying. Some activities I do often would be playing lots of basketball and improving my health slowly.

This is my mixed pit bull Oreo, she’s been in my life for about 11 years now and has been with me through my best and worst. She means the world to me and I would do anything to prolong her life. This past summer she went through surgery and I did not care about price or anything other financial concerns. She went through surgery and came out fine, this was her around 1 week ago waiting to eat a treat and she’s recovered completely.

Hey Bai! Nice to meet you. It’s great to hear you’re in your final year of college, just three classes away from the finish line. Majoring in Business and Technology of Fashion sounds intriguing. I totally feel you about the MTA fare hikes – they can be so frustrating, especially when relying on public transportation. Playing basketball and working on your health are awesome ways to stay active. Best of luck with your last classes and your journey beyond school!

Hello Bai and congrats on being so close to graduating college. It’s so fulfilling to hear that your dog is doing fine after surgery. I have a dog as well and understand the mental stress such situation can bring. As someone who was born and raised in Brooklyn like yourself, I completely agree with how you feel regarding the recent increase in MTA prices. It’s indeed very frustrating.
