Introduction

Hello everyone! my name is Raynel Fabre and I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic I am 20 years old. Some of my hobbies that really like to do is playing instruments like the piano and violin. I also like to do coding and play a lot of video games. I am very competitive when it comes to COD and Fortnite. Some of my interest is learning music and also learning how to code and becoming a software engineer in the future. This is my third year of college and I am hoping I can graduate on time and keep meeting new people throughout my journey.

The picture that is shown is one of the most important and significant instruments to me because this is where I let myself out and enjoy every second of my life. The piano has impacted me in a huge way because every time I had a certain feeling when it comes to anger, sad, upset people were able to hear it from my playing and reached out to me to make sure I am in a good mindset to grow and become a better person. This instrument was hard to get used to because you need to control a certain amount of speed depending on the song you want to play and need to make sure you exercise with your fingers to always maintain a fast speed.

Introduction

Hello, my name is Gundo Sillah and my pronouns are she/her I am from Gambia and currently reside in the Bronx. I am a sophomore studying chemistry and thinking about doing chemical engineering. I love to read and according to kindle, I read 76 books last year.  I am taking this class because I find literature interesting and love the feeling of being transported to the setting and time the novel is taking place and learning something new.

For my photo, I attached some of my favorite podcasts I like to listen to on walks or on the train. The Bert Show is really funny and talks about current events and answers listeners’ questions. Just Between Us is a little bit more informative and invites guests that are pioneers in their fields and have discussions from depression and OCD to Whale conservation and Criminal injustice.
