I learned so much from this internship and again I got to apply what I learned in my classes as well. Starting the internship I was confused and being shy didn’t help me at all as well. But as I started to ask more questions, I started to see improvement in my work. So that taught me not to be afraid to ask questions. That is part of the process. I also learned to manage my time well, be on time for the weekly meetings, it taught me professionalism. Now art direction wise I learned that when it comes to art direction you can’t just pick any image or start designing your campaign without thinking of the branding, color, and the mood of the campaign. Know who your audience is and what your client wants then create your mood board, you want your audience to feel something to be attracted to your campaign or the page, of course, you need to develop a concept then the design process begins. Lastly, this internship gave me confidence in working in the field.
