Due to its location, the country also experiences much longer periods with or without sun, in the summer and winter peak times, respectively. Important to note is that as the landscape varies so does the weather and climate by the 3 regions; the far north, the central, and far southern areas (Swedish Weather and Nature, 2020). Sweden’s climate is often referred to as extreme, in the far north, cold, and in the far south, hot — This is why it is so important to invest in versatile outerwear!
