For every problem there is, there is always a solution. With the making of our app, we have some ideas that could make a difference to help riders have a more comfortable ride.
Crowdedness Notifier
- Crowdedness Notifier would let us know which cars have the least/most space.
- It allows riders to know ahead of time before/after getting to the station to wait on the oncoming train.
- Crowdedness Notifier would color coordinate each subway car from Blue: Empty, Yellow: Somewhat Full, Red: Full.
- Hoping to make it so it would contain an equal amount of passengers in every cart or at least a less uncomfortable ride.
- As well as to contribute to making traffic flow much smoother and lessen the amount of time of passengers getting on a crowded cart.
Smart Proximity Sensors
- With the app open, the Smart Proximity Sensor can check you in/out whenever you get on/off a train.
- If you’re sharing your location, family and friends are able to locate you and an estimated time of arrival based on the train they’re on.
Citizen’s Camera
- A passenger would be able to take photos or videos in order to report any crime in order to have it rapidly trending to alert other potential users in danger. (Vary by location).
- A passenger is able to go live if they got access to service or wifi.
