The dental hygiene filed is a growing field in every aspect and in my tenure at Citcertainly have had the pleasure ofparticipating in various research projects for my various classes.   On such project was on the relationship betwperiodontal tail disease and diabetes.   I have also had to pleasure to work on various research projects dealing with the effects of sports and energy drinks on the oral cavity.  I have also done two research projects on the effects of HIV on the oral cavity.  Along with the ability to actively participate in research projects I also have ease presenting them and discussing my findings with large audiences; such as my classmates.
