FINAL VERSION
I kept this one the same, I just really like it and other seemed to like it too!
I got great idea from my professor to add a rainbow being that my interpretation was more about being physically who you want to be and the pride flag is great symbol for that.
After presenting my first version to the class I got some great feedback that led me to make some revisions. I made the mirror more realistic and added more color along with some bold text.
My first three concepts came from a quote i thought by myself
“Are You The Person You Want To Be?”
The visual concept project was based on creating imagery on a quote entirely open to your interpretation.
My first variation i was thinking more on the lines of being literal. Are you the person you want to be physically? as Men or Women. At the moment society has more open with sexual orientation and Gender. The LGBTQ community has brought a lot of awareness and I did keep that in mind when was coming up with a concept for this quote.
My second variation i was going for a more self love approach someone looking within themselves. Hence, the mirror something used for reflection and i interpreted that as, am i the person i want to be or have to be, am i leading the life i want to lead.
My last and favorite actually is just quite simple its meant to be interpreted as a group of people being unsure of who they are as one. I wanted to have strong contrast and somewhat of a movie poster feel. The typography was thought through a lot more than the other variations, i wanted to convey the instability of being unsure of who you are and want to be .
