As a committee we are working on enhancing our new student orientation process. We are assessing and enhancing all steps from the moment a student is accepted into the college to their first year experience. The departments involved in the pilot are: African American Studies, Architectural Technology, Computer Systems Technology, Construction Management and Civil Engineering Technology, Dental Hygiene, English, Entertainment Technology, Hospitality Management, Human Services, Nursing, and Radiologic Technology & Medical Imaging.

Welcome to the Peer advisement page for the CMCE Department! Our main goal is to increase the retention of females within our department, but our services are available to all students! Lamia Mahren, Denise Calungsod (Pebbles), and Faiza Naz are the Peer advisors for the CMCE Department. They are all available throughout the week to help with tutoring, school website navigation, campus resources and more! If you’re seeking help in any of those categories, take a look at the calendar for the CMCE advisors’ office hours and drop in for a visit. City Tech Women Engineers Club

The mission of the City Tech Women Engineers Club is to promote awareness and interest in improving the enrollment, retention and graduation rates of women in the technology programs at New York City College of Technology, as well as develop leadership skills through workshops, seminars and student collaboration. lnstitute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Women in Engineering (WIE) student branch at CityTech invites all interested students to join the Openlab club. Joining IEEE WIE student chapter is optional. We provide support, information and resources to all members to help them succeed in their engineering technology field of interest.
