I was born in Haiti but raised in Brooklyn since I was 2 yeas old. I’m of the oldest of 3. My favorite color is yellow. My career interests are becoming a photographer/videographer. I plan 5 – 10 years after graduating would be start my own production company. My favorite hobbies are listening to music, watching YouTube videos. Michael Jackson/ Chris Brown/ Usher/ Beyoncé has in played a major part as to why I want to be a videographer. I’ve loved watching their music videos since I was a kid and till this day I still feel the same way. I feel like visuals are essential to an artist catalogue alongside from making great music.

5) Which living person do you most admire?
-I admire Parris Goebel the most. I’ve been following her since I was in high school. She’s an amazing dancer, choreographer and director. She’s worked with many well-known artist in the industry over the years. All 4 volumes of the Savage x Fenty shows were choreographer by her with the help of other dancers. They are absolute jaw dropping performances.

20) If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?
– It would be a butterfly.

This basic design and color theory course explores graphic communication through practice, art history and by exposure to the elements and principles of design, as well as the design process, including idea development through final execution. Students develop skills in two-dimensional design, color mixing, and content creation while employing the design process of research, sketching, and experimentation. Communication designers use the concepts explored in this course in disciplines such as advertising, graphic design, web design, illustration, broadcast design, photography, and game design.

Basic concepts related to the two fundamental digital graphic forms (raster and vector graphics) and learning best uses and practices for each. This course covers basic digital imaging terminology and techniques including size, resolution, color space, file elements, measurements, file formats, and scanning software and hardware. Class projects require students to explore the meaning of communication through design and how it correlates with client satisfaction and target audience. Students become proficient with both raster and vector applications, such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
