Skills and experiences are what make a person marketable. I believe combining these attributes with passion, make one a brand. Throughout these last few years of my academic career I have found myself to be a creative individual, a strong team member, and an effective team leader. All these qualities were made possible by connecting myself to what makes me happy. My passion for the arts directs my drive for the need to impact the life of others. Art, in my eyes, is the worlds best form of communication.

I have a great deal of technical skills in multiple design software used to execute promotional and marketing designs. I stand fully capable of developing innovative designs independently or in collaboration. Apart from my design experience and skills, I was a manager at GUESS. I took great pride in leading a team of 20 aspiring individuals in one of the top stores of the company. Everywhere I have stepped foot in, I have been able to blossom. Growing is important to me and it is now time to plant a seed towards my professional career.

COMD Communication Design Internship Coordination Site

This site is designed to help you find fieldwork/study situations of approximately eight hours per week at an internship site approved by the Department Internship instructor such as an advertising agency, graphic design firm, corporate design office, publications art department, photography or illustration studio, TV or multimedia production company. Students will be required to keep a learning journal of their internship in the form of a blog using Openlab. A portion of the class will be devoted to presenting and sharing experiences with classmates. Students will learn how to assess their talents, update their resume, and promote themselves and their work through social networks. Students will be required to setup and maintain at least two social media networks such as: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. The instructors for this class are there as mentors if you have not yet found an internship before registering for the course. However, the instructors do not find an internship placement for you. It is your responsibility to find a position that fits your personal career path and help you transition to full time employment upon leaving the halls of CityTech. Ideally, you will use this site to find an internship the semester before taking the COMD 4900 class.

This is the introductory course in American Government, with the main focus on the national level but some attention to state and local levels as well. This OpenLab site contains course materials as well as links to news sites and a discussion board to exchange ideas. Please keep disagreements friendly, and please keep in mind that our main purpose is more to analyze than to react and fume. COMD 3530 Advanced Photography Studio

COMD 3530 Advanced Photography Studio

This course will explore studio photography as a means to communicate ideas. Students will learn to use lighting to transform subject matter into metaphor, mood and meaning as well as how to develop visual coherence within a group of images.
