ENG1101LC52-English Composition, FA2019
This ENG1101 course introduces concepts of critical writing and thinking; introductory research methods; and strategies for constructing effective college level essays. As a First Year Learning Community, we will pair with MAT 0630 for “Don’t Worry: Be Happy,” which will include discussions and activities designed to better understand what happiness is and how we can achieve it.
ENG1101 LC62-English Composition
This ENG1101 course introduces concepts of critical writing and thinking; introductory research methods; and strategies for constructing effective college level essays. As a First Year Learning Community, we will pair with MAT 0630 to explore the problem of procrastination and form plans for battling this common challenge.
ENG1101-LC34: Emotions 101 Spring 2018
This ENG1101 course introduces concepts of critical writing and thinking along with skills integral to constructing and documenting a college-level essay. As a First Year Learning Community, we will pair with Psychology 1101 to explore the emotional impact of the first year college transition and consider ways to identify and deal with new stressors.
