    • Proposal: It is possible that McGraw Hill will not increase the cost of the MAT1190 ALEKS code for the fall semester. In that case, we can keep the current (McGraw Hill) textbook and we will experiment (for one more semester) with the revised course outline for the open source textbook. If we do not receive a confirmation that the cost will not increase next semester, then I propose that we adopt the open source textbook.

    • Proposal: Add MAT 2680 calculus review sheet to department website under “Academic Resources”
    • Note: the OER maintenance subcommittee (the “OER epsilons”) has approved adding this review sheet to the MAT 2680 course hub.
  11. Students with light developmental needs (Professor Han)
    • Proposal 1: Approve moving forward with Option 1, 2, or 3 in this document
    • Proposal 2: Approve moving forward with USIP summer workshop (details in same document) 
  12. Announcement: Microsoft Office self-service training modules are available in the Atrium Learning Center
    1. Free for students (780 licenses expire in 2022); faculty may request a license to view curriculum
    2. May create OER version in the future; what should be in the curriculum (Excel in particular)?
    3. Can we include Excel/spreadsheets in MAT 1190 and/or MAT 1272 in the future?
