The final exam for PHIL 2203ID will be Wednesday, 12/20. You may start any time between 1 and 2:15pm, but once you start, you will have only 75 minutes (that is, 1 hr 15 mins) to complete it; any time you take beyond that will be penalized, 2 pts/minute.
You will receive a link to the exam at 1pm in whatever email you have registered on Blackboard. You can also find it under āContentā in Blackboard after 1:00pm.
The exam is open book and open notes. I recommend that you study carefully for it by filling out the study sheet ahead of time. Most of the questions require understanding concepts, not simply repeating answers from the study sheet. I will be available via email between 1 and 2:15pm, if you have any questions or technical problems.
Do NOT plagiarize from the internet. Utilizing answers from class materials and lectures is acceptable. Plagiarism from the internet is grounds for a zero score on the test.
If you need a special exception you need to contact me. If for some reason you donāt contact me and also donāt take it at the appointed time, you will need a documented excuse (either medical or related to bereavement) for permission to take it at another time.

The last day for submitting late written work is Monday, December 18. Any late homework or papers, etc, that you would like considered in your final grade must be submitted on turnitin.com before midnight on Monday.

The Study Sheet has now been uploaded. We will do a review session on Monday 12/18 during class hours. Please fill out the Study Sheet as completely as possible before then! Remember that filling out andĀ understandingĀ the answers to the study guide is the best way to study for this exam. Get a head start by filling it out ahead of time, so you don’t have to cram the night before.Ā

You can now see the Group Presentation Assignment (as well as the rubric for this assignment) under “Assignments,” “Group Presentation.” Please use this when composing your presentation.Ā

Next Monday (11/27), Prof. Davide-Schroeder from Dental Hygiene will guest lecture. She will take us over to the new DNA Learning Center (in the Pearl Building) for a small field trip towards the end of class, so please be prepared for that.
In preparation for her lecture, please read the short handout she has provided and follow the instructions there (you will also need to watch a short video).Ā

In the meantime, please forward a copy of your completed paper to your group Editor. The Editor must use group papers to write his/her paper, and won’t be able to do this until he/she has your papers. If you don’t know the editor’s contact information, try making contact through Blackboard.Ā

Just a reminder that written report for all roles except Editor are due tomorrow (11/15) on turnitin.com before midnight.Ā
Please remember to review the assignment instructions before writing/submitting your final report. The criteria there are like a rubric, they are used to grade submissions. Papers that follow instructions will always receive higher marks than those that do not, other things being equal.Ā
