Part A: Writing your first draft is all about the process, not the final result. It’s about jotting down whatever comes to mind without overthinking it. Your initial draft challenges you to express your thoughts on the spot, whether they’re right or wrong. Think of it as the first step, and the second draft simply polishes it up grammatically for better clarity. In essence, trust the process for your first draft.
Part B: The first draft is like a child’s creation, where you let your thoughts flow freely without worrying about how messy it may seem. You allow your ideas to run wild, knowing that no one else will see it at this stage, and you can refine it later. This quote is meaningful to me because I used to struggle with sharing my thoughts on paper. I felt the need to plan everything perfectly before writing.
Part C: I’d classify this type of writing as “Narrative” because the author shares personal experiences in their drafts. These personal stories connect with the main theme of the narrative, allowing the audience to relate and understand that they are not alone in their experiences.
I agree on part b , it is when all your thoughts/ ideas are coming into your paper. I also need to think before I write because I tend to be indecisive on my writing. Meaning not sure what to write.
