“The Truth About Your Seat Belt”:

The title of the podcast suits it very well because she gives out information on why people should wear seat belts. She even shares a personal story on how a seat belt saved a life.

Opening – The podcast first starts with kids in the background like the sound of a large crowd. Then it goes on with a question and you hear multiple students respond to her question “ do you wear your seatbelt in the car”? I notice that the podcast includes dramatic music like a loud violin playing in the background. I also notice M.clea jumps from giving information on why it’s important to wear a seatbelt to her later asking a question. From there  there’s audio clips of other students responding to her question.

Middle Part – The podcast keeps me captured with how she uses the sound effects she even goes by including a news audio on the importance of wearing a seatbelt. She also tells us a personal story which makes me want to stay and listen. Then she goes on to give out information about why it’s important to wear your seatbelt in the car. Overall this podcast is very well researched, there’s a lot of information given out to back up her topic.

Outro – Towards the end she explains how there’s gonna be a change on seat belts to keep others safe while driving or just being in a car. I can also hear towards the end of the podcast the music starts changing to more soft music like a low piano. I do think pathos is being used here because she talks about the sad experience her brother faced while in a car. I definitely think the targeted audience would be for teens to rethink their life decisions and wear a seat belt to prevent any harm to them.

I really liked this podcast. It gave me a new perspective on wearing your seatbelt and how important it is. I really like how she used sound effects, definitely will be something I will definitely be using in my podcast.
