Part 2 Summary
In the passage Schools are killing curiosity: why we need to stop telling children to shut up and learn, by Wendy Berliner it teaches us that children should be able to ask questions and explore their curiosity in order to have a better education especially those who come from poor homes. The author tells us that the typical scene of a classroom teaches kids not to ask questions when they have a head full of questions. The author includes how letting kids that come from low income homes explore their curiosity in order for them to get better results from their academics. The author discusses how children are born curious and they ask several questions throughout their day. As well as kids get older there questions decrease significantly because they are always put down. The author gives research that proves that curiosity is an important step in learning how to deal with experiences.
