Reading Response RLW – Kevin

One important lesson i learned was to always have a pen or pencil with you as you’re reading. While reading it is important to annotate the text or highlight important parts of the reading, for some people it is difficult to remember back in the text they’re reading. So leaving little notes as you’re reading is a good tactic. In the article Mike Bunn states, “It’s important to read with a pen or highlighter in your hand so that you can mark right on the text-all those spots where you identify an interesting choose the author has made or a writerly technique you might want to use”. Mike Bunn tells us that having a pen or highlighter is important because it shows us the type of writing techniques that catches our attention that we might use for future writings.
