Tip 1 : ” Participation ” stood out to me because i don’t normally participate unless im called on but participation is an important key in college success. It allows you to have better understanding on the topic you’re doing and it improves your overall grade for the class. Also from my personal experience participating means that you are paying attention in class and you know what is going in class. I plan on using this tip by actually participating in class, communicating better with my classmates, and listening to both my classmates and professor. I’ll also give feedback to my classmates on their work and also accept feedback so i can improve in both writing and reading.
Tip 2 : ” Check the Syllabus ” is also another important tip to me for college success. If you miss a class day and homework was assigned, there’s no need to panic because the syllabus tells you all the upcoming work and when they’re all due. It also gives you all the answers to whatever questions you have of the class whether its about late policy to grade percentages. The syllabus is basically a guide for the semester and it is important to check your syllabus for any type of updates. I check the syllabus a good amount of times throughout the week but i will improve and start checking the syllabus on a daily basis to be on track with the class and the work.
