Your photos are good documentation, and your observations describe the architecture of neighborhood. Strong sketches. I recommend digging deeper in your queries of place. For example, go further into the complexity of the sidewalk: infrastructure, the critical place for activity, movement, and social interaction in our city. The sidewalk is the great display of New York life and culture. Your diagram of the sidewalk also captures the intensity of place of the street (Flatbush extension) due to traffic, varied architectural treatment and masses, a tight proportion of street width to building height….
